
Relieved and happy to have the new MacBook. Having lived through a painful harddrive failure a month after the warranty expired on G4 PowerBook, I’ve lived with a feeling of borrowed time on the replaced drive. After four years, the fan began constantly running two weeks ago. Time was up.

Welcoming a new member to our family, the MacBook Pro. This beauty replaces a 7 year-old G4 PowerBook which served honorably as a print production, video editing and web development studio.

We held our daughter’s 7th birthday party at the East Sandwich Grange, a 120 year-old building that has stood through times of war, depression, peace and prosperity. As the party unfolded, the beauty of this historic building played an unforgettable role in our enjoyment of the day.

As birthday girl and party guests disappeared into a world of pretend play on the stage, the young ones were treated to piggy-back rides by my sister and husband.
